I have learned not to take myself too seriously. At this age I have no hang-ups only ideas of how I can strive to be better. I am a big kid filled with energy, much like a helium balloon that’s full of laughter. Whoever chooses me will need to have the wherewithal to contain my energy. I am not looking for the perfect guy, but rather who God have sent to find me.

I enjoy cooking and prefer to cook from scratch. I like traveling, movies, and tasting foods from around the world. I happen to think life is too short to waste it! The mellow evening for me is listening to jazz or classical music softly with the lights dim… so relaxing.

The guy for me doesn’t claim to be Christian, but radiates Godly principles. He is strong, content, smart, caring, compassionate, supports his family, not just financially, but spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. He is secure within his self and his abilities and willing to let go of old things and allow new life to begin. My need is for him to take his time with me mentally and not rush the process. I prefer a friendship first, so that if and when things get tough or we disagree we can support each other through commitment and not necessity. He should know that I think friendship is important and anything serious should have time to grow and take it’s proper course. I am very much old school when it comes to loving my man, I think he should be catered to, and of course he’d have to earn his position, but when he does, there will be no holds barred.

I have no desire for an experience, I’ve had enough of those. I am however very interested in exceptional. I enjoy philosophical intellectual conversations. I prefer someone that is well rounded and not closed-minded in his views and opinions. For instance, if you take a strong stance on political views and that’s all you have, I may become bored or even frustrated with limited conversation, or lack of versatility.
